Oakley Division Ski Jacket Review
Matt’s Specs: Sizing Info
Waterproofing and Breathability: The Oakley Division has a 10k Hydrogauge laminate that provides entry level waterproofing to keep you dry. It’s not going to be great in wet weather, but it will offer you some protection when skiing in a light snow. Hydrogauge is also on the lower end for breathability, but will be fine for the casual skier just cruising around the mountain.
Warmth: The Oakley Division is lightly insulated for added warmth. It’s a heavy feeling jacket, even with minimal insulation. The extra weight in the shell makes it feel a nit warmer than you might expect at first. This still wouldn’t be great for really cold days, but would be more than enough for milder days.
Fit: The Oakley Division has a regular fit that feels a bit on the tight side. It feels a bit more like a fitted jacket, but the look and feel flattering and comfortable. If you’re in between sizes it may be worth it to size and up and give yourself a bit more room. I found the small fit me fine, but it was a bit restricting in the waist, and if I was any bigger in the torso it would have been too tight. If you like a more conforming fit, the Division will suit you just fine.
Features: The Oakley Division has moderate insulation and entry level waterproofing. In addition you’ll find a contoured hood, powder skirt, and underarm ventilation.
