Marmot Thea 2016 Review by A Better Ski

The Marmot Thea is a warm mid-layer for underneath a technical shell. It’s very warm, and very comfortable, it just doesn’t have the tech of features to make it a good stand-alone piece for skiing.

Marmot Thea Mid-Layer Video Review

Tester: Cindy

Size: M

Matt’s Specs: Sizing Info

Waterproofing and Breathability: The Marmot Thea is not waterproof, but does have down defender to help keep the jacket insulating when wet.

Warmth: The Marmot Thea is a very warm mid-layer. It has 700 fill down in the torso, and a sweater knit fleece on the sleeves and side. It would be great for underneath your shell on a cold winter’s day.

Fit: The Marmot Thea is a very comfortable mid-layer that is true to size.

Features: The Marmot Thea is a hybrid down sweater. It’s very comfortable, and very warm. It does have two hand warming pockets, and a fleece lined collar.

Bottom Line: The Marmot Thea is a warm mid-layer that would also make a great around town jacket on milder days.
