Flylow Larry 2016 Review by A Better Ski

The Flylow Larry vest is a warm 800 fill down vest that’s great for adding a little extra insulation under your technical shell. Although vests may not be for everyone, they do offer solid warmth for your core in a lightweight and generally low profile form. These are also great for milder days on the trail, or around the fire at the backcountry yurt. The Flylow Larry is built with a ripstop fabric with DWR to keep the snow beading right off. It does have two hand warming pockets, and one very small chest pocket on the outside. There is also a small media pocket on the inside of the chest. The down is super warm in the torso, and there is 40g of synthetic insulation on the shoulders.
