The Dryguy Thermanator is a silent boot and glove heater that can be mounted on the wall, or freestanding on the floor. It can hold two pairs of boots, or gloves. The Thermanator is nice because it’s silent, but it does take a decent amount of time to dry your gear. I find it most useful when I get home from a day of skiing. I can place my boots and gloves on the rack, and by the time I get up in the morning for another day on the mountain, the gear is dry. It seems to work a bit faster for my gloves, but usually they don’t get as wet as my boots. I think as long as your gear isn’t soaked, the Thermanator will dry it quickly enough. It’s a pretty basic dryer without a whole lot of extras. I’d like to see a similar heater with some air flow to help dry things quicker. I’d also like to see a slightly different shape for the “arms” as well so it might fit the shape of my boots a touch better. Still, I think if all you need is a simple and effective way to dry your gear, the Dryguy Thermanator is perfectly fine.
