The Columbia Bugaboo is a good value pant for those on a budget, or those who just want a simple pant for the casual skier. The fit is a bit more conforming, and our tester found it a bit tight in the thighs. The Columbia Bugaboo does come in a short, regular, and long so you can find a better fit for your length. The waterproofing is pretty middle of the road, but unless you spend a lot of time outside in wet conditions or a ton of time in the deep snow, then it shouldn’t be a problem. Just be sure to take care of them properly, and retreat occasionally to keep water-proofing. The pant is pretty warm, usually a light thermal layer underneath is sufficient. If you’re looking for a quality pant on a budget, the Columbia Bugaboo is a good option.

Turn Off’s: Size M Pants that fit too tight in the thigh so I can’t use my pockets but so loose in the waist they fall down and I get snow in my pants. Crowds in the mountains, and not being able to find a place to park at the trailhead or ski resort
